Oxford Social Workers - HCPC Hearings

Of the nearly 6400 Social Workers currently in the UK there are currently 741Social Workers in the UK currently under Investigation/Conditions of Practice/Suspended/deregistered with the HCPC at this moment 18.08.2016.

That is, in my opinion, 741 to many, and shows that there is clearly a problem within our Social Services System. 

Whilst I was doing my regular check to see who is currently suspended or struck off I found 2 hearings coming up for Oxford based Social Workers, that was 2 within the first 60 names.

This really isn't good enough.
